An estate find: A RARE vintage WW2 military Army/Navy Seabees Cigarette tin. I was told it belonged to a Seabees sailor ( Naval Construction and engineer ) . The emblem on the left is a Combat engineer crest. The emblem on right is Navy anchor. An Eagle crest in center on both branch emblems. These were also used during WW1 as well by US military and also Japanese, Russian and French personnel as well - to keep cigarettes in there pockets and not crushing them- keeping them in the tin. This metal/tin has wear/ blemishes/some dents and does not close all the way - missing latch ( I think) . I don’t see any markings-makers marks- might be under the blemishes not sure. I’m not sure what kind of metal it’s made out of. It is 4” long x 2” wide x 3/4” thick . Look at the pictures you be the judge sold as is where is what you see is what you get. Ask questions/ all sales final/ no returns/ no international shipping. Thanks.
