Condition: Received from a local estate auction. I do not have knowledge about Military items, tag on the unit states 1942, No. 888. It is in good cosmetic condition with some handling marks. Its metal case, leather/canvas bags show their age (dents/dirt/scratches/etc.,) and leather pieces may need some conditioning/oiling/etc.,. It seems to have clean optics, however I do not know if focusing is sharp enough (it may need a calibration, manual explains it). Please read description & view pictures for details.
