    Description

This is a superb Second World War (or possibly First World War) pattern British Army Ghurka soldier’s fighting knife or Kukri which comes together with its small skinning or sharpening knife.
It has a heavy steel re-curved blade with plain dark wood grip and yellow metal fittings. It is stamped with its Army issue number “7308” – the auxiliary knife is also stamped with part of that number
It is in good used condition for its considerable age throughout – there are old cleaning/repair marks to the blade – please see photos for detailed condition report.
This is part of my 50 year collection of edged weapons which I am starting to reduce.
Size overall 16 inches (41 cm) - blade 11 inches (28.5 cm) – small knife 4½ inches (11 cm) overall
    Total weight 436 grammes
