Analog BBD Delay
The VTD delivers all the sweet luscious analog delay tones like the original Vapor Trail but with many new upgrades. The VTD extends the delay time up to 1.2s while maintaining great clarity and warmth on the longer repeats. The VTD features 4 of the largest BBD chips in production yielding great performance and tone.
Digital Control
At the heart of the VTD is a digital brain that allows users to program and store 3 analog delay settings. The digital control provides unique sounds in special mode settings that are otherwise unattainable by a non-digital control delay pedal.
Modulation
The modulation depth and rate controls let you to dial in the right amount of pitch modulation from subtle chorus to warbly ambient tones to Leslie type effects. The range on the depth and rate controls will make your head spin as you explore new ambient tones. Your new soundscape awaits...
Special Modes
The VTD features 4 special modes: micro delay, sequence, bender, and runaway. Explore new pitch shift delay effects that can take you to another world. Micro delay can go from a double track effect to spinning Leslie goodness. Sequence bounces octaves up and down to give you a new rhythmic track that will energize your creative bug. Bender gives you dive bombs and glissandos perfect for that unique intro/ending or spaced-out middle section. With runaway, you can expand the delay regeneration giving you a sustained interstellar soundscape.
Tap Divisions
Control your repeats with tab tempo and subdivisions. Explore synced delay tones from classic dotted 8th, 8th note, triplet 8th, or quarter note subdivisions.
Wet Insert
Explore new delay sounds by routing just the delay signal to any pedal or device using a TRS to dual mono insert cable. Mix in the delayed effect using the mix knob for the perfect balance. You can even use the wet insert as a dry cut by sending just the wet insert delay signal to any device.
Expression
The expression control can control all the knob parameters except for mode. You can layer parameters for endless control over you delay settings.
