ORIGINAL WWII ERA SPANISH ARMY M-1926 HELMET WITH LINER & CHINSTRAP

ORIGINAL WORLD WAR TWO ERA M-1926 SPANISH ARMY HELMET.  I am not an expert on Spanish helmets so I am not exactly sure of the timeline of use.  I would assume it was manufactured during or before the WWII era and certainly saw service into the post war years.  This helmet has been repainted several times.  Looks to have once had a sloppy gray paint job (some traces of gray paint are on the leather liner & can be seen on the outer shell) and then repainted again in olive drab/khaki.  The shell is in very good condition.  The leather liner looks to be vintage and possibly original to the helmet.  The liner is in overall good condition showing some wear & age.  It is interesting to note that when this helmet was reissued 1 of the 3 leather liner sections must have been damaged so they removed it and sewed in a replacement - see close up photos of liner.  The leather chinstrap is present and remains in good condition.
Display head is not included.
