I have used normal pliers with little to know success and quality needle nose pliers with mixed success but this unique plier shape makes installing master link pliers so much easier. I really like keeping must have tools in my mobile tool box and holding off on tools that are barely used. But this plier is a must have for my mobile tool box. I use it with some regularity.
