    Description

    Two (2) early original vintage press photographs show Romanian Marshall Antonescu meeting with German General Halder at the German army high command headquarters and a second photograph of the grand opening of the spanish cortes by head of state Franco
    Ion Antonescu was a Romanian military officer and marshal who presided over two successive wartime dictatorships as Prime Minister and Conducător during most of World War II. After the war, he was executed.
    Franz Halder was a German general and the chief of staff of the Army High Command (OKH) in Germany from 1938 until September 1942. During World War II, he directed the planning and implementation of Operation Barbarossa, the 1941 invasion of the Soviet Union.
    Francisco Franco was a Spanish general who led the Nationalist forces in overthrowing the Second Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War and thereafter ruled over Spain from 1939 to 1975 as a dictator, assuming the title Caudillo.
    Photographs measure 7 x 9 inches and are in very gooda couple emulsion cracks.  There are no tears or creases.  The images have strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
