High gloss ceramic "Specialties Line" figurine produced by popular California pottery, Hagen-Renaker, Inc.
CONDITION

I received this
sought-after Introductory 2003 Specialty Rearing Unicorn BRAND NEW from the factory way back when it was first issued
(and he came from the very first batch as well!), and then I accidently bumped him in to something and broke one of his legs. I hid him away all this time and eventually forgot about him ~ what a delight that some office cleaning has unearthed this beauty! The underside of the base is stamped "HR 2003" and in spite of his repaired leg, I still consider him a treasure. The repair: front left leg, almost a clean break (but there is a small chip out of the back--see the last photo), temporarily repaired with water-soluable Elmer's Glue so that you can soak it in warm water and separate if you ever want to have a professional repair done. Suggested Retail on a mint, current piece is .00; I considered auctioning him because I don't know what his value is given his "2003" status combined with his devaluing repair... you might be getting a great deal at this listing's price but I honestly have no idea. Won't you give him a good home? :-)
