    About ACA Power Supply
Some old BOSS pedals made in ‘70s ,80s and '90s have unique power supply system called “ACA” that is different from current “PSA” system.
The pedals with ACA system have a Smoothing Circuit in itself, but PSA pedals do not, as such Smoothing Circuit is embedded in power supply unit such as BOSS PSA-100 for example.
When such power supply unit is used for ACA type pedals, it cannot supply enough 9Vdc power to effect circuit (smoothing after smoothed signal), which can be a cause of insufficient effect, darker light of LED indicator or malfunction in worst case.
To use ACA pedals (old nice pedals anyhow), following methods shall be applied.
    - Use 9V square battery.
    - Use ACA power adapter. But it is not realistic as BOSS no longer produce it and hard to find even preowned one.
    - Use BOSS pedals as power supply. TU-2, TU-3, LS-2, PSM-5 and others can be used (BOSS official recommendation).
    - Modify to PSA. It is not that difficult but means the pedal get to be none original.
    - Apply 12V by special power supply unit (center minus). Not officially recommended.
