The color of the blue fluorite elicits a relaxing and soothing essence, yet the structure of the bold terminated smoky crystals seem to have a bit of "edgy" energy to them. Notice there is a black opaque angled thin almost "triangular" shaped vein that separates the two minerals. If this "complex" stone could speak we are sure it would say something like, "I refuse to live as half of myself because other people can’t handle all of me."... so it decided to show both sides of itself. The blue fluorite is transparent so when back lit you can appreciate the ethereal internal crystal growth. The smoky quartz crystals explode into serveral raw terminated quartz crystal tips - with light reflecting natural facets. Can be orientated in many different ways depending upon the jewelry artist's vision. Flat and polished on both sides. Peter Ehret at The Glass Slipper Lapidary Studios, Texas, USA. Can be front to back drilled and turned into a bead; please request is made prior to paying.
