    Authentic copyright War Department of the U.S.A for WW II Poster by artist illustrator Jes Schlaikjer 1944. Beautiful never framed lithographic Poster over 77 years old from the family of a former Brown & Bigelow worker!
    "O'er The Ramparts we watch" taken from the "Star Spangled Banner" and evokes Patriotism of the World War two era.
    This poster is one of the most sought after of Jes Schlaikjer posters picturing a super handsome WW2 Army Air force soldier wrapped in clouds among flying planes clutching a bomb. Colors on this are rich and bright as the day it was printed in 1943. I have added close ups of front and back to show lithographic printing and age toned paper.
    Poster measures 19" x 25" including thin border and is signed Jes Schlaikjer 1944. To bottom right reads Brown & Bigelow St Paul Minn. and a tiny diamond shape Union Label logo.
    * This is part of a large collection I have listed printed by Brown & Bigelow of St Paul Minnesota for the War Department during the 1940's. Purchased from the family of a former Brown & Bigelow employee. This poster never used and is uncirculated!
