Authentic issue by the War Department of the U.S.A for WW II "OF THE TROOPS AND FOR THE TROOPS". Beautiful never framed lithographic Poster over 77 years old by artist Illustrator Jes Schlaikjer. Poster pictures soldier standing tall amid tanks, trucks and artillery fire!
Over all size of poster is 19" x 24" with full untrimmed borders, minor edge wear/bends with no tears or other damage. Back of poster is lightly tanned from age, paper still supple! Poster looks much better in person than my photo's show with rich dark crisp un faded color!
* This is part of a large collection I am listing printed by Brown & Bigelow of St Paul Minnesota for the War Department during the 1940's. This was possibly to be part os a large calendar but was never used and is uncirculated!
